l originally trained as a textile designer at Winchester School of Art more than 35 years ago and subsequently had a hectic career as an Interior designer working for corporate and residential clients in central London.

I moved to Shropshire nearly 10 years ago and now work as a freelance teacher, curator, artist, stylist and designer. Until recently I retailed from my own Gallery & Studio in Bishop’s Castle.

I enjoy the journey or process of making a picture as much as the achievement of a completed image which successfully conveys the mood that I set out to capture.

I’m constantly experimenting with combinations of technique and mediums.

I like to surprise myself with a variety of styles, and often travel a long way distant from my source towards abstraction.
